A multi-national expedition discovers a lost city beneath a pyramid, where they must stop the re-awakened gods of ancient Egypt from initiating the apocalypse. Masterton lead DOUG ADLER and the rest of his team – his assistant ADAM PRIME, the Scientist ROHIT, the psychic CLAIRE BECKET, the opportunist PETER LEVITZ, and Masterton’s beautiful daughter SARAH – into the labyrinthine layers beneath the treasure filled rooms of the pyramid. Betrayal and murder follow in quick succession as the Ancient gods of Egypt awake from their five thousand year slumber to ignite their second sun and cleanse the earth of human life.

Director: Roger Christian, the two time Academy Award winner ROGER CHRISTIAN has had an extensive film career. He won an Academy Award for set decoration on director George Lucas’ STAR WARS. Lucas subsequently tapped Christian to direct the second unit on RETURN OF THE JEDI and chose Roger to helm alongside him on STAR WARS; THE PHANTOM MENACE. Christian’s work as an Art Director was highly acclaimed and he was part of the small, original team of people responsible for creating STAR WARS and ALIEN. He received an Academy Award Nomination for his work on ALIEN as the art director.

SYNOPSIS

A film in Malayalam by international award winning director K P Kumaran, Akasha Gopuram is set in an imaginary town and tells the story of Albert Samson (Mohan Lal), a middle-aged architect who has clawed his way to prominence. His single-minded focus on his job, however, has hardened him and prevented him and his wife Alice(Swetha Menon) from having a meaningful private life. The costs of Samson’s ambition are also symbolized in his assistant, Abrahim Thomas (Bharat Gopi), Samson's former employer whom he "scalped" to reach the top. Thomas, now dying, wants his son Alex (Manoj K Jayan) to have more independence in the firm. Samson, however, fears that he will be eclipsed by a younger generation of architects, and refuses to allow Alex either to design original houses or to leave the firm and strike out on his own.

Into this tension comes Hilda Varghese (Nithya), a vivacious young woman who has idolized Samson since ten years before, when, in the early stages of his career, he had built a large church in her hometown and climbed to the top of its tower during its dedication ceremony. While in town, Samsons had promised Hilda, then a girl of twelve, "a kingdom"; now, Hilda says earnestly, she has come to collect her kingdom.

A tribute to Henrik Ibsen in his death centenary year, Akasha Gopuram is an adaptation of Henrik Ibsen’s critically acclaimed master piece – The Master Builder. National and international award winning director K P Kumaran ( Thotram, Athithi, Neram Pularumbol, Rugmini, Kattile Pattu, Adipapam, Thanthuli among others) returns to big screen after a gap of 6 year.

The best of talent from Hindi, Malayalam and UK have come together to create this intriguing story of architect in war with his creativity and ego. Shot in various locations in UK by cinematographer Santosh C Thundiyil (Krish, Pinjar, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai) , Akashagopuram’s music has been scored by John Altmann.

GRAND HOTEL BABYLON

Shy and withdrawn, he lived in many cities. He switched luxury hotels as often as hand

Towels and confined his contact to the outer world to his butler, Henry Leek, the narrator

of the  story. After a night of overindulgence in champagne and the resulting promise of

marriage  to a lady, William fled in panic to the one place where no one would suspect

him: back to  England. In order to actually have any contact with his fans, he switched

identity with his  butler, who died from a sickness he picked up in transit. From there a

chain of confusing  events unravels, ending him up in court where the dead butler is on

trial for falsifying his  own pictures! – a romantic, macabre comedy in front of the 

Victorian curtains after one of  the most popular English novels, Grand Hotel Babylon by

Arnold Bennett.

The politicians of this world and their ambassadors have prescribed the concept  “Tolerance through Respect” – this moves us, helps us grasp the world in tough times and moments and has inspired us with an idea for a film. The "dramaturgical link" is based on a novel called "Nathan, the wise" written by a German Jew, Ephraim Lessing (he lived and died in the 19^th century), one of the famous German literature pieces, which talks about tolerance, peace and a common future between the three religions. Lessing’s so called “Novel of the Rings” is the contemporary message of reconciliation of the three world religions, is the message of “equality and brotherhood”. Our film will be a testimonial of the enlightened, humane, and civilized world. Our film will evoke an understanding of the different cultures and religions. Our film will be a call for reconciliation and above all a call for “Tolerance through Respect.”

Short synopsis

It is a true story of a some polish rich Jews families escaped from the Nazi regime living Incognito as Christians surrounded from Muslims in Lebanon.

The last thing that Mo, Muslim and a successful young New York lawyer, wants is to go back to Lebanon. The memories of the religious civil war torn up land he left as a child are just too painful. But Mo’s fiancée, a journalist, daughter of a rich Christian Media tycoon has gone missing during her staying there. His research puts him on the trail of an Entire village that had to flee half way around the world. At the end he has not only found his fiancée again but also the hope for peace between the religions: a true story of tolerance, love and the courage to forgive. This going to be a very emotional film where the three leading world religions are involved in a very romantic way. An American love story playing most of the time in Beirut and in a little beautiful village in the south of Lebanon, which ends with a tiny but impressive marriage somewhere out here.
